So many guests have commented on the driftwood art that is displayed in the dining deck saloon of Emma Jane, that we thought we would highlight the artist - Denise Whyatt. Denise runs her business, Dash, from her studio at Benderloch, a small village just outside Oban. Her passion is actually for textile-based artwork - and we have several of her prints also displayed in Emma Jane, as well as her cushions. Denise has a love of nature and animals that comes through in her subject matter! Her designs are hand painted/printed on to fabric, paper, canvas and wood. Denise also loves making sculptures from the driftwood found on the coastline, which we felt was very apt for Hebrides Cruises. Click to find out more about Denise's work on the Dash website>

Cruise extended beyond expected area because of good sea conditions, allowing visits to Lunga and Cairns of Coll, both of which were spectacular. Anchorages were sheltered and scenic. Every effort made to spot and view wildlife in the area. Crew worked hard to ensure high standards of cleanliness and exceptional dining, even for those who do not like seafood. The 3 day mini cruise gives an opportunity for those unsure of life at sea to sample the experience and see the priority given to guest comfort.
