At Hebrides Cruises, our vessels have always been more than just boats, they are a part of our family. That is why we are absolutely thrilled to officially announce the newest addition to our fleet, the Mairi B.

As you can see from the photo, she has been named in honour of a very special person, our founder Rob’s wife, Mairi. Naming our vessels after beloved family members is a deeply rooted tradition for us, and bringing the Mairi B into the fold marks an exciting new chapter in our story.

A Dynamic New Role for the Fleet - While our three main cruising vessels continue to offer our signature, immersive overnight wildlife cruises, the Mairi B introduces a whole new level of flexibility to our operations.  Much smaller and significantly faster than her sister ships, she will serve a vital dual purpose:

Fleet Support: Her speed and agility make her the perfect support vessel, allowing us to seamlessly manage logistics, provide extra responsiveness across our cruising grounds, and enhance the overall experience for our main fleet.

Exclusive Day Charters: For the first time, we are able to offer intimate, fast-paced day cruises! The Mairi B is available for private charter, comfortably carrying up to 8 guests. Whether you are looking for a bespoke family day out, a quick island transfer, or a focused wildlife-spotting excursion, she offers an exhilarating way to experience the spectacular west coast.

Ready for Adventure?  The Mairi B represents the perfect blend of what Hebrides Cruises stands for: a deep commitment to family heritage, paired with an ever-evolving desire to offer our guests the absolute best ways to explore the waters we call home.  She is already turning heads in the marina, and we can’t wait to welcome you aboard.  Interested in booking a private day charter for up to 8 guests?
