Geraldine and I have recently completed the Sea Kingdom of the Southern Hebrides cruise - our third cruise with this wonderful family-run business. The vessel, Lucy Mary, was extremely comfortable with excellent facilities. The crew of five was welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, highly professional and great fun. Each member had their own ‘specialist’ role, but they worked superbly as a team. The menu was varied, the food was exceptional and each day’s table décor was a masterpiece. The cruise itinerary was well-planned and the anchorages quiet, sheltered and picturesque. We saw some great wildlife, including the Hebridean ‘Big Five’. One of the most memorable parts of the trip, and one that we will never forget, was travelling through the Gulf of Corryvreckan, with the third largest whirlpool in the world.
