This was our fourth cruise, much anticipated. Lucy Mary is luxurious and cosy, tasteful and fun; the food is fresh, varied and delicious (not to mention beautifully presented); and the crew is exactly the right mix of helpful, expert, fun, cheerful and practical whether it's spotting dolphins, making cocktails or drying off wet clothes. The weather this year was rough, but it is testament to the boat, the crew and of course the skipper that we still had a fabulous time. The wilds and wildlife of Scotland are not on demand or even predictable, but with superb seamanship, local knowledge and untold experience, we enjoyed new wonders: perfect white beaches; ancient woodlands; spectacular waterfalls; magnificent lighthouses on the most isolated rocks; symphonies of birdsong and the joys of having the most beautiful bits of the world all to ourselves. We're already excited for next year.
