Expert and highly qualified Crew
Each of our vessels has four experienced and qualified crew members, namely the Skipper, Chef, Wildlife Guide and Bosun - the highest crew to guest ratio in small-ship cruising in Scotland for 10 guests on board. In addition all are passionate about the wildlife, history and culture of the Hebrides. We are WiSE accredtied.

The outstanding team from the first season of our luxury vessel returns for 2018. James Fairbairns returns as Skipper along with owner and Skipper Rob Barlow, with crew members comprising Wildlife Guide Lynsey Bland, relief Wildlife Guide Georgina Kelly and relief Bosun Maddy Anderson. Elizabeth-G Skipper and Crew 2018
Hebrides Cruises owner Rob Barlow is Skipper for Elizabeth G, alongside Chris Ireland who has been Skipper of Elizabeth G for many seasons. We are delighted to have Chef Stevie cruise with us again with Robert Gardner joining us as relief Chef. No less than 3 Wildlife Guides share the season, depending on the cruise; Chris Gomersall, Nigel Spencer and Alexa Kershaw. Vital Shore Support
A vital member of the Hebrides Cruises team is Sales and Shore Manager Emma McGregor, daughter of Skipper Rob Barlow who deals with all bookings, guest communications and shore management. Emma ensuries the seamless of care of our guests from the first contact and their time on board to disembarking their cruise and their onward journey.
